ABOUT

Gallup, New Mexico is a unique destination located in western New Mexico. It is home to the most Native American arts in the world and is a hub for Native American culture because of its proximity to major reservations, including Navajo to the west, Zuni to the east and the Native American people who call the City home.  In addition to the abundance of arts and Native culture, Gallup is home to exquisite outdoor beauty and adventurous outdoor activities.

The City had long gone without a social media presence, due to its lack of branding as a unique tourism destination. In early 2017, after an extensive rebrand identifying Gallup as “Gallup Real True,” the City team hired the Sunny505 team to develop a comprehensive plan to build their existing social media properties and cultivate an engaged audience. Key performance indicators included increase in followers and, more importantly, engagement.

Their Facebook account has successfully surpassed 10,000 followers with monthly engagements averaging between 10,000 and 21,000. Posts are shared an average of one to five times a week.
