Griffin Develops Site for National Labs Recruiting Effort
The National Laboratories Career Day website was developed with the intent of marketing a STEM diversity event to 17 national labs and to all Atlanta University Center Consortium students and faculty. It is also used as a recruiting tool. The website contains detailed information including the event agenda and faculty and student registration forms. It also provides lab representatives a way to obtain student resumes and contact information for high touch recruitment purposes.
The website was initially created for the February 2016 National Laboratories Day event that was held at Howard University. The website assists in promoting the national labs’ employment brand to an audience comprised primarily of underrepresented categories in STEM fields. The DOE Complex will use the registration feature to capture the information of the top talent associated with each event to offer job opportunities within the DOE Complex.
