Visit Big Sky Hires Griffin & Associates

Visit Big Sky has contracted a public relations firm to help expand the region’s national and international travel market share. Griffin & Associates, a Public Relations and Marketing Firm with an expertise in promoting travel and tourism was contracted after a RFP process earlier this month. The firm was selected out of a pool of 4 applicants.

“While 2014 was a record year for us in terms of tourism, we are committed to growing our market share even more,” said Catherine Gilb, President of the Visit Big Sky Board of Directors. “We had a competitive bid process, and Griffin & Associates was selected as the best fit for our area. Their firm has a solid reputation with traditional and vertical news outlets and their team members are mountain resort industry experts.”

Griffin & Associates will handle media relations including disseminating monthly news releases promoting Big Sky, hosting regional and national media and working with the area’s social media team.  Griffin & Associates is an Albuquerque-based marketing firm with satellite offices in Taos, NM and Durango, CO. Some of the company’s other tourism clients include the Durango Area Tourism Office, the Town of Taos, NM, Los Alamos County, NM and Farmington, NM.
