Here are the 30 best advertising ideas to come out of New Mexico in the past year

3 Advertising, Sunny505 and Esparza were among those recognized at this year’s New Mexico Advertising Awards.

On Feb. 29, New Mexico’s leading advertising and marketing professionals gathered for the American Advertising Federation-New Mexico’s annual celebration of the best advertising from around the state. During the event, the best ideas created within the last year are given a special honor and are recognized as the “Albuquerque 30.”

The firm with the most recognitions in the Albuquerque 30 was 3 Advertising, which took home ten awards in total.

“For a city our size we have a lot of creative agencies and it’s a great way to celebrate our community,” said Sam Maclay, creative director and partner of 3 Advertising. “We enjoy [seeing] what our peers are up to and be a great motivator for our clients.”

Students from the University of New Mexico and Central New Mexico were also recognized for their work at this year’s ceremony.

“We need to keep our younger audience engaged and there was a strong student showing this year. That segment was stronger than ever this year,” Maclay said.
